Why SofTap is Different

A lot of permanent makeup today is applied with a pmu machine.

We don’t use machines.

SofTap uses a gentle hand method that gives you softer, more natural results, and a much more relaxed experience both during the procedure and after.

No harsh vibration. No overworked skin. No “blocky” brows.

Just controlled, precise pigment placement that ages beautifully over time.

And here’s the part most places can’t say:

You’re being treated by artists who didn’t just learn SofTap…

they were raised in it.

This is second-generation expertise, decades in the making — with a modern, down-to-earth approach that makes you feel comfortable in their chair.

What We Offer

Brows, lips, eyeliner, correction, and more — all done using the SofTap hand method for softer, more natural results.

SofTap Junior Artist

Alexandra Lawson

Alex is the kind of artist people instantly feel comfortable with.

She’s calm, detail-obsessed, and genuinely cares about getting things right.

Not rushed, not overdone.

She’ll listen to what you want, ask the right questions, and make sure you leave feeling like yourself, and probably even a little better.

Trained from the ground up in the SofTap method, Alex combines years of hands-on experience with a natural eye for subtle, clean results.

If you’re a little nervous (totally normal), she’s exactly who you want in the room.

SofTap Senior Artist

Irene Kennerley

Irene is equal parts expert and energy.

She’s been doing this for years, has worked on thousands of clients, and somehow still treats every appointment like it matters the most — because it does.

She’s funny, fast, incredibly precise, and will absolutely tell you what actually works for your face (not just what you think you want).

As one of the daughters of the SofTap founders, this method isn’t just something she learned, it’s something she grew up around and has shaped herself.

You’re getting experience, honesty, and results that hold up over time.

Also… you’ll probably laugh at least once during your appointment.

FAQs

Still have questions?

Does it hurt?

Most clients are surprised by how manageable it is.

We numb before we start, and work with a very gentle hand. No need to power through pain for good results.

What if I don't like it?

That’s why we don’t rush anything.

We design everything together first (shape, color, and placement) so you know exactly what to expect before we start.

And if something concerns you later, we are happy to evaluate and address it.

Is this a tattoo?

Technically yes, but not in the way you’re thinking.

SofTap is much softer and more controlled than traditional tattooing, so your results heal natural, not harsh or blocky.

How long does it last?

Most clients get 1–3 years before needing a refresh.

It fades gradually and evenly, no weird patches or sudden disappearing acts

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on your artist and the service you choose.

You’ll see exact pricing before booking, no surprises, no upsells mid-appointment.

Do I need to get a touch-up?

Yes, and it’s part of getting the best result.

The initial session lays the foundation, and the 6 week touch-up perfects everything once your skin has healed. After that you can come in every 1-3 years.

Who is this best for?

Anyone who wants to look more polished without looking “done.”

If you like natural results that actually age well, you’re in the right place.

Ready When You Are

If you’ve been thinking about it for a while… this is your sign.

We’ll walk you through everything. No pressure, no surprises.
