"Restoring beauty with a natural look… never overdone".
When I began my business my mission statement was “To enhance practice services for plastic surgeons and their patients to exclusively provide safe and precise permanent makeup procedures on site for the clientele of reputable physicians".
Over the years, it has become so much more than that. My greatest accomplishment is the reputation I have in the community. I have never been known to over-sell and I will always send you home if I do not feel you need something. My ethics and integrity are tantamount to the success of my business. I look forward to meeting you and planning a beauty regimen that best suits your needs.
Kathy Wright, R.N. has actively practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982 as a Registered Nurse. Her experience is extensive and multidimensional. After she earned her degree in nursing, she worked in the critical care units of Sequoia Hospital for 2 years. In 1985, she joined the plastic surgery practice of Jaroy Weber M.D., launching her plastic surgery nursing career. Her association with Dr. Weber enabled her to become intimately involved in patient care as an R.N. First Assistant in the operating room and as a clinical office nurse. This 3- year position prepared her for the transition to the operating room at Sequoia Hospital.
Kathy knows challenge and success. Her career path has included assisting the development of a medical start-up company, obtaining a patent for an orthopedic medical device and extensive traveling to educate health care professionals in her innovations. 1992, she joined Donald Laub, M.D., a prestigious plastic surgeon in Palo Alto. It was with Dr. Laub that Kathy gained her expertise in skin care, as a collagen and Botox injection specialist, counseling patients in the Obagi Skin Fitness Program and performing Jessner’s, TCA Peels. Her training in permanent make-up tattooing was with Sally Hayes of Scottsdale, Arizona. Kathy’s advanced training came from Alexis Lawson, founder of the worldwide SofTap method. Kathy has trained many students across the country in the art of permanent make-up tattooing.
In 1998, Kathy started her own business in the offices of many prominent plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the Bay area, including Dr. Howard Sutkin and Dr. Timothy Weibel (Los Gatos), Dr. Samuel Pearl (Mt. View) Dr. Donald Laub (Palo Alto), Dr. Jane Weston (Atherton), Dr. Bruce Maltz and Dr. Lorne Rosenfield (Burlingame). She provided the services of areola and permanent make-up tattooing, dermal filler injections and deep skin peels. Upon Dr. Laubs’ retirement in 2001, Kathy joined Dr. Seung Kim and continued working with Dr. Rosenfield in Burlingame. Currently, Kathy works for Dr. James Newman in San Mateo. She joins the top 5% of injection specialist across the nation who has earned platinum status in Botox and Restylane sales. Choosing a permanent cosmetic professionalChoosing a permanent cosmetic professional can be one of the most important decisions you make for yourself. Because this procedure is permanent, you need to make sure you see someone very skilled and who is a good personal match for you. Shop for skill and personality, not price. Communication is very important to a permanent makeup procedure. If your technician listens to you, works with you, and genuinely understands what you want, you will have a positive experience.
